The beginning of The Hammer Deaf Expo
In 2023, The Hammer Deaf Expo first ran in Brodheadsville, Pennsylvania. What started as a first-time community event became the foundation for future Expos and continued growth.
With 311 attendees, the event helped bring Deaf, Hard of Hearing, families, vendors, organizations, and supporters together in one shared space. It created opportunities for connection, visibility, resources, and celebration.
